Last Saturday we received the news that England would go into a second, new lockdown as of today, Thursday November 5 until at least December 2nd. We know that there had been confusion and conflicting news for various businesses as to whether or not they’d still be able to operate, or if they would be totally shut down for a period of time as so many were previously.
Obviously the question that we, and many of our prospective buyers and sellers have had is: Are estate agents still able to continue?
Thankfully it’s good news, because the Housing Minister Robert Jenrick confirmed in a tweet that the market is still very much open for business, and we are able to continue as we were, whilst still following the government guidelines. We set out how we have been working safely throughout this pandemic in this recent blog post of ours.
We are still offering virtual video tours if preferred, we will continue to wear PPE and observe social distancing when it comes to meeting with clients and carrying out an viewings, and will be constantly informing our clients as to any potential changes to government guidelines in our industry as-and-when we are notified about them.
We are always here to answer any questions and support our clients, both existing and potential, when it comes to the sale of purchase of properties, and will continue to offer or expert knowledge and support at all times throughout this new lockdown.
If you would like a property valuation, we are still very much open for business! Head over to our ‘valuations’ page, or give us a call on 0208 462 7155 for a no-obligation chat and to see how we can help you with your property
