Getting about
Cheaper overall property-wise, in part due to the fact there is no actual station in Biggin Hill, the town is still well-connected, with only a short drive to a few different station options. Various regular bus services connect residents with Bromley, Hayes and Orpington, with the closest rail link being Hayes station, which offers 4-hourly services to central London. Biggin Hill is also close to the M25 motorway, ideal for those who commute to other parts of the South East (and beyond) by car.
Local Amenities & Going Out
Biggin Hill’s Memorial Library and Pool is in great condition (ideal for family swimming and lessons). There is also Darwin Leisure Centre that has a gym, fitness classes, personal training, and several sports courts and pitches. Biggin Hill has a great selection of pubs and restaurants, with many people specifically coming from other areas to visit them. Favourites include The Aperfield Inn and the Old Jail Pub, plus the award winning Shampan Indian Restaurant.

Primaries include Oaklands, Biggin Hill Primary and Tatsfield depending on which end of Biggin Hill you live, with the main Secondary being Charles Darwin (rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted).
We Love…
The nearby airport has a great cafe now called ‘The Lookout’, where you can sit with a cuppa and watch the planes come and go. Great for small children or plane enthusiasts! The yearly airshow is also a major highlight for those living locally.
